Rochester scored six unanswered goals to break open a close game on their way to a 22-12 Regional victory over Regina Friday. The Falcons led just 4-3 midway through the first half before the scoring binge propelled them to a 15-5 halftime edge.

Rochester (13-6) was led by Kendall Jordan’s four goals and four assists, Claire McPherson’s four goals and one assist, and Rylee Martin’s four goals. Emily Yerge added three goals, Taylor Simmons and Mireia Jiménez-Pinilla scored twice each, and Mikaela Brown, Martha Kuitula, and Erin Robinson added single tallies.

Regina’s Nicole Bordo led all scorers with 7 goals.

Rochester moves on to the Regional Semifinals against Cranbrook next Wednesday.
