In Game One of the double header Rochester collected 15 hits to beat Berkley 14-2. Berkley captured the lead in the first inning. Rochester then took the lead for good with three runs in the second inning off of a Bailey Carlson doubled driving in two runs and a Karlynn Kelley RBI single. Rochester High School scored five more runs in the fourth inning, thanks to a double by Catie Troy, a few errors by Berkley, and a single by Harper Monica. Victoria Wendt earned the win pitching five innings, allowing two runs, four hits, and striking out four. Jenna Norgrove, Bailey Carlson, Catie Troy, Rose Myers, and Miu Hosono each recorded multiple hits for the Falcons. Carlson and Norgrove all had three hits to lead Rochester in their 14-2 win.
An early lead in Game Two helped Rochester High School defeat Berkley 11-1 on Tuesday. The Falcons scored in the first inning on a groundout by Rose Myers. Rochester added four more runs in the third inning with a single by Miu Hosono, and a double by Anna Cloutier. Aryn Gallacher earned the win for Rochester High School. She tossed five innings, surrendering one run, three hits, striking out four, and walking one. Rochester High School collected 13 hits. Anna Cloutier, Harper Monica, Miu Hosono, and Kyra Shaw each collected multiple hits for Rochester. Catie Troy and Rose Myers each drove in two runs to lead Rochester to their 11-1 win.
With these wins Rochester advances to 10-0 in the OAA White Division. The Falcons take on rival Rochester Adams on Thursday for the last League DH of the season. Game time is set for 4:30pm at Rochester Adams.
