Soccer Shuts Out Bloomfield

The Falcons traveled to Bloomfield for an OAA Red match up, and came away with a 1-0 win. Grant Ellison scored a second-half goal that was assisted by Demetri Pliakos and Luke Kastran earned the shutout in goal for Rochester (8-2-3). Rochester will be back in action tonight against Troy.

Volleyball Moves to 4-0 in OAA Blue

The Falcons moved to 4-0 in OAA Blue play, crushing Oak Park in three sets 25-5, 25-4, and 25-12. Julia Kowal had 7 aces and 3 digs, Maya Gilgenback 3 aces, 8 kills, and 2 digs, and Maddie Halsey had 4 aces, 4 kills, and 12 assists. Rochester will travel to Ferndale next Tuesday.

New Weight Room Equipment

The Rochester High School weight room just got a much needed face lift. The Rochester Athletics Booster Club, along with the Athletic Department and Football program helped to raise funds and purchase several Wilder Dual Power Racks and benches. The racks will were customized with royal blue paint, along with the iconic Rochester Block R.

Girls Golf Continues to Roll

Despite being down one of their best players (Erika Yang), the Falcons again came away with another tournament win. This time, it was at the OAA Red #2 Tournament, and the Falcons wrapped up the OAA Red title by out shooting Bloomfield 311-316 . This is the 9th consecutive tournament win for Rochester, and leading the way

Volleyball Stays Perfect in Conference Play

The Rochester Volleyball celebrated senior night at home on Tuesday, and came away with a three set sweep of Southfield A&T. The Falcons move to 3-0 in OAA Blue play, and will host Oak Park at home on Thursday.

Rochester Knocks Off Powerful Athens

The Rochester Boys Soccer team has already had an outstanding start to the season, but it got even better, after the Falcons knocked off Troy Athens. Athens was sitting all alone atop of the OAA Red Division, and was ranked #6 in the state. Demetri Pliakos scored a first-half goal that was assisted by Grant Benedettini

Girls Swim Tops Stoney

  RHS Girls Swim Team beat Stoney Creek in a dual meet on Saturday Sept 24th with a score of 114 to 69.  The 200 Medley Relay team made of  Victoria Thor, Grace Forlines, Sophie Smythe, and Manuela Mura  achieved a state cut time to qualify them for the State meet in November. Victoria Thor
