Girls Basketball Beats Troy 42-41

The Rochester Girls Basketball team picked up a hard fought victory over Tory on the road last night, winning by a score of 42-41. The Falcons were led by Tori Hawkins, Ava Harding, Jenna Norgrove, and Anna Winkler who each had 8 points apiece. Rochester returns home on Friday to take on Oxford.

Girls Basketball Picks Up Win Over Seaholm

The Rochester Girls Basketball team picked up win number one of the Al Poynter era, knocking off Seaholm in impressive fashion 34-23. Jenna Norgrove led the Falcons with 16 points. Rochester will return to action on Friday at home, as they host Royal Oak.

Al Poynter, a veteran coach in Oakland County, takes over for the Rochester girls basketball program, and hopes to lead the Falcons back to prominence. Paola Barazza Named All OAA-Blue

Last season Paola Barazza was forced to sit out the entire season after suffering an ACL injury in the off-season. Girls Basketball Downs Ferndale

It’s crossover time in the OAA, and Rochester traveled to Ferndale last night in OAA Blue and Gold crossover action. The falcons knocked off the golden eagles 44-33, and will travel to Bishop Foley tonight to conclude the regular season. Rochester was led by freshmen Jordan Banks with 17 points and 13 rebounds. The Rochester Girls Basketball team had a great night on and off the court tonight. The Falcons knocked off Troy 34-23, in front of a large crowd, in a strong defensive battle. Breast Cancer Awareness Game Friday

The Rochester Girls Basketball team will be wearing pink on Friday, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness, against Troy. The Falcons will be donating funds made at the game to Breast Cancer Awareness, and all students will be admitted to the game for free. Everyone is encouraged to wear pink!
