Elizabeth Bulat Finishes Strong at Cross Country Finals

Congratulations to Elizabeth Bulat on her 37th (out of 236) place finish at the Division 1 MHSAA state cross country finals.  Liz ran a personal best (18:16) the week before at the regional event and finished 5th which qualified her for the state finals.  Nice job Liz!

On Saturday the Rochester Falcons Cross Country team traveled to Algonac High School to compete in the regional championship. In the girls varsity race junior captain Elizabeth Bulat placed 14th in a very competitive field with a time of 19:12, a four second PR and she earned a trip to the state finals next week.

On Friday the boys and girls varsity cross country teams competed in the James Cleverely (Anchor Bay) Invitational. The hot and humid conditions did not scare the Falcon harriers as the girls took home the first place trophy scoring an impressive 39 points, 33 points ahead of runner-up Anchor Bay who finished with 72 points.

The Rochester Girls Cross Country team finished 5th on Saturday, led by Elisabeth Bulat (7th individually) and Camryn Remick (8th individually).
